Greeting Friends:
Thank you for visiting my web page. I hope there is some information here that
will help you get to know me and my music a little better. I've just added
some videos of my playing to this web site (under pictures) and to
YouTube. I hope you enjoy watching me play. Don't forget to sign my
guest book which appears at the conclusion of this greeting.
I've been one lucky person. I've managed to make my living in classical music
ever since I was a youngster. It's the only life I've ever known and I feel
truly blessed.
Over the past number of years I've stood in front of some fantastic choirs made
up of wonderful musicians but in order to concentrate more on my organ studies
I've taken a little sabatical and a much needed rest. Now it is time to get
back to work.
I would like to thank the kind folks of Christ Church Ithan for giving me a home
and allowing me to play for them and direct their wonderful choir.
I am so excited about some of the places I've been invited to play. Princeton Chapel,
St. Philip's Cathedral, Atlanta, St. Thomas Church, New York City,
Old St. Mary's, New York City, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Newark,
New Jersey, St. Mary's Cathedral, San Francisco, Turo Cathedral and St. Paul's Cathedral,
England, and The Cathedral of Notre Dame, Paris, France and this is just to name a few.
Take a look at my biography, my resume and listen to some of the sound bites
on this site to hear samples of my playing. Take a moment and sign my guest book and
share your thoughts with me. If you like, you can even print out whatever material
you may need.
There is also an e-mail link for you to keep in touch and ask me questions or
better yet, to invite me to perform on your recital series.
Best wishes to all of you and a music filled 2011.
Louis Lawrence
